I had an introductory meeting at the Meyer Theatre last week (my internship) and I am so excited to get started. The Meyer Theatre is a fabulous venue that has a very nice and welcoming staff! They have an exciting line-up for the fall season...including the Last Comic Standing tour, Country music sensation- Phil Vassar, and much more!

This week is pretty hectic for me...I have been packing and getting ready to move back to school for my last semester! I am very eager to finish up school...I will definitely miss my college years, but I look forward to what my future holds!
In other news, "Karaoke with the Stars!" kicks off tomorrow night at The Bullpen Sports Bar and Night Club located in Manitowoc, WI. Andy Lorge will be hosting the event tomorrow night starting at 9pm- I and some friends are planning on attending so if you aren't busy, come out and sing a few! ***Be sure to mark next week, Wed. on your calenders! I will be hosting the event and I look forward to seeing you all there!***
I think that is it for now...I thank those of you who took part in my last poll...it was kind of a fun poll. I have posted a new one regarding the release of my own music and possibly another cover CD. As some of you are already aware, I have been busy writing (especially this summer) my own music and I am pretty determined to cut a CD of originals sometime in the near future. As some of you are already aware, I already recorded a CD that has 4 cover songs on it and have been offering it to people for free with the purchase of a signed photograph ($10.00). If you are someone who interested in obtaining one of those CDs, please send an email to jessica@jessicaplansky.com. I look forward to getting into the studio really soon with the hopes of recording a CD of originals and a CD of covers. This new CD project will most likely be produced acoustically...I have been giving some thought concerning what 'covers' I would like to do and I am thinking about running a poll on here to see which songs you would like to see appear on the CD. Stay tuned...
