In other news, Porterfield Country Music Fest is just around the corner! I will be hitting the stage and making my debut at Porterfield on Thursday, June 14th @ 1pm on the main stage! I will be performing for about 30-45 minutes, including the singing of the National Anthem. I am honored to be accompanied by three very talented musicians, whom I met last summer through the Lakeshore's Rising Stars competition (www.lakeshoresrisingstars.com) I participated in- Riley Haupt on drums, Matt O'Grady on Guitar, and Ben Hoffman on Keys. More exciting news! I have been offered a judging position from KIX Country (based out of Escanaba, MI) for the newest country karaoke competition of the summer! I am honored to have been offered this position and I look forward to judging the hottest talent from the U.P. and Northeastern WI. The competition kicks off at the Island Resort and Casino in Harris, MI in just two weeks from tonight, June 18th! I will have the honor of judging the 6 prelim rounds, but unfortunately will not be able to attend the finale due to a prior engagement! KIX Country has been nothing but great to me and has supported me in so many ways, including sending me to Vegas, playing and promoting my talent on-air, and pulling in votes for the national vocal competition I did earlier this year!
