Hey Everyone!
I hope you all had a relaxing weekend!
I want to thank everyone who came out to support me in Phoenix Idol! It was one of my most interesting competitions...those of you who attended, know what I am talking about...
In other news, I found out on Thursday afternoon that I will be interning at the Meyer Theatre next Fall! I am so pumped! The Meyer Theatre is a great venue located in downtown Green Bay...just minutes from campus! I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with the Manager/Director of the theatre and he is so great and so excited to have me as an intern! Not only will I be learning about what goes into booking an artist, producing a show, etc...but I also get to work with all the artists that are coming in next Fall!!! I am so excited!!! Anyways, I will be sharing more exciting information about my internship as it comes about, but until then, I highly recommend checking the Meyer Theatre out!
I guess tonight's post is going to be longer than usual. I have been quite ill for the past 4 days so I haven't been able to do much of anything. I just have to make it through the next 2 weeks and then I am summer bound...or shall I say, Vegas bound! Yes! I leave for Vegas on the 14th of May! I am so excited...I won this trip this summer through a 3 part karaoke competition. I will be hitting up the strip of Vegas for a few days and attending the ACM Awards! Did I mention that I was pumped?! !
Lastly, I leave you with a thought...a question or opinion perhaps...American Idol? Will it last? Is it going downhill? Should I audition again? Is it worth it? Just some random thoughts....let me know what you think.
